Yoga and Baby Massage at Plantpots
We are delighted to offer Yoga and Baby Massage sessions with Miss Ashley, who works across our Great Park and Havannah settings, bringing a calm, nurturing presence to our children's daily experiences.
Miss Ashley's sessions are thoughtfully woven into our Montessori environments, supporting the whole child, body, mind and spirit, in a way that feels natural, purposeful and child-led.
At Plantpot's, yoga and baby massage are not 'extras' they are an intentional part of our holistic Montessori approach, supporting children to feel grounded, confident and connected as they grow.
Language Learning the Montessori Way
In Montessori education, language is not taught in isolation — it is lived and experienced. Miss Carmen's sessions reflect this philosophy by supporting:
• Early communication and listening skills
• Clear pronunciation and phonetic awareness
• Memory, concentration and cognitive development
• Cultural awareness and curiosity about the wider world
Children are encouraged to listen, repeat, explore and participate at their own pace, ensuring learning feels meaningful rather than pressured.
At Plantpot's, Spanish with Miss Carmen is a valued part of our enriched curriculum, supporting children to grow into confident, curious and globally minded learners.
Forest School at Plantpots Havannah
At Plantpot's Havannah, our Forest School offers children rich, hands-on experiences in nature, where learning unfolds naturally through exploration, care and discovery.
Children spend time creating bug gardens, exploring habitats, building carts, cooking in mud kitchens and enjoying outdoor storytelling sessions that spark imagination and language. These experiences nurture curiosity, collaboration and a deep connection to the natural world.
Growing, Caring & Learning the Montessori Way
A much-loved part of our Forest School is growing our own produce — just like our very own Plantpot's. Children plant seeds, water them, care for them daily and observe the full life cycle as seeds transform into vegetables.
Through this process, children:
• Develop patience, responsibility and respect for living things
• Learn where food comes from and how to care for it
• Build practical life skills through purposeful, real work
• Experience pride and joy when harvesting and enjoying their vegetables as snack
Rooted firmly in Montessori principles, this work supports independence, concentration and meaningful learning — where children see the direct result of their care and effort.
At Plantpot's Havannah, Forest School is a place where children get muddy, tell stories, nurture life and grow with confidence, developing a lifelong respect for nature, themselves and the world around them.
